Important: Engineering N4–N6 (NATED/Report 191) qualifications are no longer open for new applications or registrations (last date was 30 June 2026). Students previously registered on the DHET system may still be eligible to complete outstanding N4 modules or continue to N5 and N6, subject to verification.

Course Overview

Electrical Engineering is the application of knowledge, typically in the form of science, mathematics, and empirical evidences to the innovation, design, construction, operation and maintenance of structures, machines and materials. Electrical engineering involves the design, study and manufacturing of various electrical and electronic systems such as electrical circuits, computer systems, telecommunication, instrumentation, controls and electronics.
