CTU’s national graduation event, split into different on-premises ceremonies, took place on the 4th of March 2022.
The students and their guests received a warm welcome on entering the premises and were then shown to the registration, photographs, and gown sections, respectively.
Every ceremony had a guest speaker, and they played video messages of well wishes and congratulations from the CTU CEO, Juanie Newby, and the Group Academic Director, Erna Ferreira.
We are incredibly proud of our graduates, the second class to have survived a complete overhaul in the way education is delivered, all while navigating their way through the challenges of a global pandemic.
“If there is one thing that COVID-19 has taught us, it’s that while it is impossible to escape reality, what lies within our grasp is the power to change that reality, transforming it into something better for the whole of humanity,” Juanie Newby said.
Erna added, “The class of 2021 persevered. You are capable of taking on any obstacle that may lie in your life. You have all faced the challenge of learning in this time and you succeeded. You are bold and faced adversity head-on. To achieve meaningful things in life you have to act boldly, and you did just that.”

Congratulations to the Class of 2021. Your time is now. Be the heroes and leaders the world needs. Please go out and do us proud!
