As a current CTU student, you can refer friends or family members who are interested in studying with us. For every successful referral, you’ll qualify for either a R1 000 Takealot Voucher or a R1 000 tuition fee discount.
How it works

- Your referral must be new to CTU and not already in contact with us
- The referred student must register for the February 2027 intake
- Their registration fee must be paid
- They must be attending classes when studies commence in February 2027
- Once your referral qualifies, you'll choose your preferred reward

Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
- Open to currently registered CTU students only.
- The referred person must not already exist in CTU’s CRM, enquiry, applicant, student, or alumni databases.
- The referred person must be a first-time registration/registrant for the February 2027 intake.
- Referrals must be submitted via the official CTU referral process (records on MS Forms).
- The Refer a Friend campaign is applicable only to students registering for Full-Time or Part-Time studies. Distance Learning, Short Courses, Skills Programmes, Corporate Training, and any other study modes are excluded.
Qualification
- The referred student must complete registration.
- The registration fee must be paid.
- The referred student must commence studies and remain enrolled after the attendance verification date.
Reward
- The referrer will receive either:
- R1 000 Takealot Voucher; or
- R1 000 Tuition Fee Discount.
- The reward selection will be made once the referral has qualified.
- Rewards are not transferable.
- Rewards may not be exchanged for cash.
Referral Rules
- Students may earn multiple rewards for multiple successful referrals.
- Where multiple students refer the same individual, only the first referral recorded by CTU will qualify for the reward.
- Referrals must be submitted before the prospective student makes a direct enquiry, application, registration, attends an event, or is captured in any CTU system.
- Duplicate referrals will not qualify.
- Self-referrals are not permitted.
- Employees and staff of CTU are excluded.
Administration
- CTU reserves the right to verify all referrals and decline any referral that does not meet the campaign requirements.
- Any suspected abuse or fraudulent activity may result in disqualification.
