Frequently Asked
Your questions answered!
What is an Assessment Centre?
An assessment centre is a QCTO-approved facility where final external exams (EISAs) for occupational qualifications are conducted. Only registered centres may host and invigilate these exams, ensuring they meet national quality standards.
If your training provider isn’t a registered assessment centre, learners can complete their final exam at CTU Training Solutions, a fully accredited QCTO Assessment Centre. This guarantees that qualifications are officially recognised and assessments are conducted in line with national requirements.
What is EISA?
The External Integrated Summative Assessment (EISA) is a single national assessment that leads to the awarding of an Occupational Certificate. EISA ensures that the assessment of occupational qualifications, part qualifications, and trades is standardised, consistent, and credible.
To qualify for entry to EISA, learners must show proof of completing all required knowledge, practical, and workplace modules as stipulated in the qualification. The statement of results obtained from the Skills Development Provider (SDP) confirms that learners are eligible to sit for the EISA.
Get Involved in Marking Assessments
If you are a qualified assessor and want to assist with marking EISAs, you’ll need to complete an additional form and upload your supporting documentation.
