About the curator
Steyn is a qualified and experienced educator in the creative field of design. He holds a MA Degree in Information Design from the University of Pretoria and has been involved in the industry and private higher education for approximately twenty-five years. His industry experience consists of multiple creative roles in an agency and freelancing context, including managing the creative process from initial conception to the final execution of design deliverables. He is the current Head of Faculty for Design at CTU Training Solutions.

Visual communication is the development of design solutions to persuade, entertain, inform, and educate an observing audience regarding products, services and ideas. It is the development of corporate identity, packaging, editorial and Web design, promotional campaigns and interactive media.
