About CTU Training Solutions

CTU Training Solutions is an award-winning private tertiary education provider and has been developing skilled professionals since 1987. We offer training solutions for full time and part time students. Our national qualifications and international vendor-related certifications are updated regularly according to industry standards and pave the road to success for our graduates entering future jobs introduced by the 4th Industrial Revolution.

We also offer short courses that are skills-based and vendor-specific. International certifications are available to specific relevant qualifications. CTU Training Solutions is a Level 2 B-BBEE contributor and can assist companies with learnerships. CTU is also registered with the Department of Higher Education as a Private Higher Education Institution. We have over 14 registered ICT learnerships up to NQF Level 6.

Skills shortages are a key threat to the future growth of South African businesses. Upskilling the existing workforce is vital for securing a business’ future and ensuring it remains competitive. If you or your employees are well trained, they’ll be more productive, leading to increased efficiency, and higher profits for your business.

With faculties in IT, Design, Business & Management, Engineering and Humanities, participants have the choice to study full time (1 to 3-year qualifications and technical and other diplomas) or part time (qualifications, short courses and skills development programmes).

Full Time

Our full time qualifications are designed to kick start your career.

CTU offers an array of full time qualifications and international vendor-related certifications for school leavers. The duration of the qualifications vary between 1 to 3 years. We offer qualifications in IT, Design, Business, Engineering and Humanities. Our qualifications are updated regularly to adhere to industry standards.

Part Time

Are you a working individual and do not have the time to study full time? This option is perfect for you!

We offer qualifications with classes in the evening, twice a week and two Saturdays per month, after which the learner will obtain a national qualification and international certification/s (where applicable). (Qualifications vary from 1 year, 18 months or five years part time.)
Selected programmes offer a self-paced option (hybrid learning applies). Hybrid VLIT (virtual lecturer-led interactive training) learning combines self-paced and online training that incorporates virtual laboratories.

We are dedicated to providing corporate training and development.

Skills shortages are a key threat to the future growth of South African businesses. We believe that companies should have a suitable skills development plan to optimise the technologies that are deployed, systematically developing employees to address the skills gap as a great way to achieve empowered human capital.
The CTU Corporate division provides consultative training and development solutions to corporate organisations, government, SMME’s, technology partners and vendor partners.

Yearly, each campus hosts an event where students vote for representatives to participate in the national Mr. & Miss

Sports Day

Once a year, CTU students representing their campuses participate in various sports to be crowned the winning campus of the day.

Induction Day

During the first academic week of the year, students are provided with all the necessary information to survive the hectic academic year ahead.
