CTU Gives Back

CTU visits Sonopkoms Pre-primary School

Some of the CTU Potchefstroom students and SRC visited Sonopkoms Pre-primary School on the 12th of May 2015. We were welcomed by friendly and curious faces that watched us with big eyes. Although they were very happy about everything that we brought, they were the happiest about the cookies and marshmallows that were in one of the boxes.

Donations by Roodepoort students for ARRF dogs

Thank you note from the company:
“A very BIG THANK YOU to all the CTU students who put everything together for the ARRF doggies. As you can see on the pictures, they absolutely LOVE the new beds, blankets, food and toys. We bought some much needed medicine with the money donated and the soap powder keeps everything fresh and clean! We do not have words to say how much we appreciate the assistance!”

CTU Potch wears slippers

On the 1st of August the students and staff members of CTU Training Solutions Potchefstroom opened their hearts and came to the campus… in their slippers!

It was National Slipper Day and the students and staff members decided to go all out and support this wonderful initiative. There were slippers of all shapes and sizes and colours – pink bulls with lip piercings, Minnie Mouse, you name it.

Slipper Day is an initiative from Reach for a Dream to generate funds to turn dreams of children with life threatening diseases into memories. Some of them want to take a spin in a sports car, some want to swim with dolphins and others want to meet a
celebrity. In order for this foundation to realize these dreams they need the necessary funds and Slipper Day is just one such initiative.

It was really a fun day and everybody won in the end. What did the students and staff members win? A free coffee at Wimpy!
