Microsoft MEA LeX Learning Partners Summit 2015

A partner unique in its approach to the development of ICT professionals by its commitment to International Certification, placing great value on certification to ensure that the industry requirements for skills development are met every time! National qualifications and outstanding ICT professionals, developing South Africa’s ICT sector. MEA FY15 Gold Learning Partner of the Year Award. In September 2015, CTU Training Solutions’ Marketing Director, Rhynier de Klerk attended the Microsoft MEA LeX Learning Partners Summit in Marrakech, Morocco. The visit to this lovely country was both enjoyable and instructive for a great start in FY16 to drive growth and performance and CTU is looking forward to a continuous and fruitful partnership with Microsoft in South Africa and Africa. On day 2 of the event, CTU Training Solutions was announced the winner of the MEA Gold Learning Partner of the Year Award. Why did we win this award? With more than 21 years’ experience in the training industry, CTU Training Solutions had constructed an established and efficient training and development model that has given us the ability to collaborate with experienced partners like Microsoft, allowing us to provide each of our customers their own customised solution, implemented at the time they need it, to achieve their goals and grow their specific business or ultimately their career. Growing our customer base Through various marketing drives across the country we manage to grow our customer base by the thousands, creating the perfect pool of candidates considering careers in the IT industry which feeds into our various youth workforce development initiatives. As a result, CTU reached growth averages of up to 86% in the last year delivering training and development solutions on MCSA, MCSE and MCSD certifications and programmes aligned to national qualifications. In essence this drives Microsoft technology and certification demand, growing the Microsoft customer eco-system from the young consumer right through to business owner. We cater for SMME, government, corporates and individuals alike, providing training solutions on various technologies through workforce development programmes, internship programmes, student-to-business programmes and part time training. Because of Microsoft technologies such as Skype for Business we are able to provide our customers the option of VILT (virtual instructor-led training) which has helped both CTU and Microsoft to reach new customers throughout South Africa and Africa who have limited access and time available to learn new Microsoft technology. CTU has delivered more than 5 000 certifications a high volume of new customers developing and proving their skills in FY15, accommodating more than 30 learnership projects (SANDF, Societe General, Tractional, Netsurit, Ricoh and FNB to name a few) across South Africa, hosting over 400 students on various NQF4-NQF6 national qualifications aligned to Microsoft international certifications. We believe that clients need the ability to validate and prove their skills in the South African and African market and have managed to train more than 5 000 individuals, organizations, Microsoft partners and government clients on the latest Microsoft server, cloud and productivity technologies in the past year. Our certification trends show that 50% of our customers train and certified on MCSA Windows Server 2012, 20% on MCSA SQL Server 2012, 10% on MCSE Server Infrastructure and another 10% on MCSE Desktop Infrastructure.
