The purpose of the assessment is to inform learners of their learning progress and to enable facilitators to adjust their instruction to the needs of the learners. Throughout the formative assessment process, the results and progress of the learner will be continually discussed, reviewed and further development strategies will be implemented to improve learning programmes and instruction. Each learner will be issued with two academic transcripts during their year of study in order to monitor their progress.
