Web Design & Development

Web development is a broad term for the work involved in developing a website. Among web professionals, “web development” usually refers to the main non-design aspects of building websites: writing mark-up & coding. Web development can range from developing the simplest static single page of plain text to the most complex web-based internet applications, electronic businesses, or social network services.
Included in the fees:

  • International exams listed (does not include rewrites)
  • Office 365


After completing Web Design, enrol for Web Development as your 2nd year specialisation. Presented at all campuses & also available Part Time.


  • A laptop* and a minimum of 20 GB data per month (uncapped recommended) are required.
  • Compulsory Adobe CC student yearly subscription for an estimated R2800. Request more information from your campus.
  • Students are required to have a domain registered that makes use of Cpanel. During orientation week, students will be provided with additional information on the requirements and registration process of a domain. A registration fee as well as monthly subscription fee will be payable.
